Walrus Oil Furniture Wax Polish - Easy Wood Maintenance and Polishing Wax

Handcrafted with a higher concentration of Carnauba Wax and Candelilla Wax for a strong final coat, Walrus Oil Furniture Wax is a dense, hard wax designed to add water protection, a little shine, and color richness to woodworking projects. Also made with heat-tempered Tung Oil, Polymerizing Safflower Oil, and Hemp Seed Oil, this wax is useful for polishing old furniture and wood items, curing to a matte to satin finish.

For best results, it is recommended to use the Walrus Oil Furniture Wax over the oil-based Furniture Finish after it has dried for at least 24 - 48 hours. To apply, simply spread a thin layer of the wax across the entire surface using either a rag or an electric buffer. Allow the wax to set for 1 hour, then buff away any excess residue. Repeat this process until the desired number of coats and look is achieved.

After the final coat has been applied, allow 24 - 48 hours for the surface to become dry to the touch. However, it may take up to 1 week to be completely dry and up to 4 weeks to be fully cured. During the curing process, it is ideal for the wood piece to be kept in a temperature-controlled environment, as humidity and high heat can prolong the curing time. It is also important to keep liquids off the surface for up to 4 weeks.
